Shipping

Wavecrest Marine currently ships all merchandise UPS, Fed EX, or truck freight.  All orders with in-stock items approved for payment by 1:30 PM EST Monday – Friday are shipped that same day. Orders approved for payment after 1:30 PM on Friday and orders place on Saturday and Sunday will ship on the following Monday.  All orders used by credit card or debit card are subject to credit approval before shipment can be made.   

Free Shipping

Orders that qualifying for free shipping may only be shipped via UPS ground. Free shipping offers are only valid within the continental U.S.

Privacy

Wavecrest Marine is committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell or disclose any information that identifies you to a third party without your prior approval. We may use the information we collect to periodically notify you about new services or special offers we think you'll find valuable. If you would rather not receive this information, you may send an e-mail to sales@wavecrestmarine.com with "unsubscribe" as the subject line. Wavecrest Marine does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others.

Security

We guarantee that every online transaction you make will be 100% safe. This means you pay nothing if unauthorized charges are made to your card as a result of shopping at our online store. Under the Fair Credit Billing Act, your bank cannot hold you liable for more than $50.00 of fraudulent charges. If your bank does hold you liable for any of this $50.00, we will cover the entire liability for you up to the full $50.00. We will only cover this liability if the unauthorized use of your credit card resulted through no fault of your own from purchases made while using the secure server. In the event of unauthorized use of your credit card, you must notify your credit card provider in accordance with its reporting rules and procedures.

Returns & Replacements

Returns

1. Please examine all parts Immediately.
2. We must be notified within two (2) days after the receipt of material(s), in the event of any claim. Any and all returns must be received within 30 days of the invoice date or a 25% fee will be applied.
3. No allowances will be made for shortages or damages unless we are notified within two (2) days of the invoice date.
4. No return merchandise will be accepted without a prior Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) Number and a copy of the invoice.
5. Returned merchandise is subject to a 15% restocking fee if returned within 30 days.
6. Return of electrical goods will not be accepted.
7. All goods returned for credit must be in good saleable condition and in original packaging.
8. Special orders are non-returnable and non-refundable!
9. Online order discounts can be charged back if parts are returned.

10. Free freight discounts will be charged back if parts returned result in orders being less than the required  $100. NOTICE!!
Please examine the contents of this package carefully.
They were checked twice by our shipping department.

Shortages may result from:
1. Articles being overlooked and thrown out with the packing material.
2. Merchandise taken out before contents are checked in.
3. Damage, pilferage, or loss in transit. A claim should immediately be filed with the shipper and/or transportation company if this occurs.

Special Attention should be given to make certain that small articles are not thrown away with the packing material or left in the box. Check under the flaps of the box bottom!

Your invoice is included with your package(s). It is a record of all items sent. Make sure you match the items sent and the quantity against the invoice. Customers are responsible for the shipping costs for returns and/or exchanges. All items returned in a non-re-sellable condition, or with missing parts will be not allowed to be returned and returned to the customer or charged a restocking fee at Wavecrest Marine's discretion upon inspection. There are no returns for special order items, electronics, electrical components, cut lengths of material or hazardous materials, such as, but not limited to, paint, oil, resins and adhesives.

Product descriptions, typographic, pricing and photographic errors are unintentional and subject to correction. We regret, but are not liable for these errors.

All products sold are backed by the Original Equipment Manufacturers warranty and subject to the guidelines established by that manufacturer. Wavecrest Marine is not a manufacturer and therefore is not authorized to alter or change the warranty, either expressed or implied, of the OE provider.
Although we accept the four major credit cards on general purchases, we are not able to extend that practice in the product classes of Engines (New, Re-manufactured, or re­built), and Generators. In those instances, we require payment in advance prior to shipment, by way of a pre-approved company check or money order. All engine and generator installations must comply with the respective manufacturers installation guidelines, or the product be rendered “void of warranty” by the manufacturer. A copy of a particular Manufacturers warranty statement may be obtained by contacting  Wavecrest Marine.

Wavecrest Marine's policy is one of constant update and revision. Wavecrest Marine may at anytime discontinue, update, add or revise product listings, including pricing and availability. Wavecrest Marine presents product specifications and information as received from manufacturers or vendors. Wavecrest Marine does not warrant that this information is accurate or reliable.

Sales Tax

Wavecrest Marine is located in Michigan.  Wavecrest Marine does not charge sales tax in any state except Michigan. Wavecrest Marine is required by law to charge sales tax in any state we have a physical location. We currently charge sales tax to delivery addresses in Michigan only.

Wavecrest Marine' staff is available to assist users with questions and concerns. However, it is understood that they may not be able to answer every question or solve every problem.

Limitations of Liability
Users agree that for any purchase of products, Wavecrest Marine is not liable or responsible for any amount of damages above the aggregate dollar amount paid by users for the purchase of the products under the sales policy. All other claims arising from the use of the information on this website are null and void.

Release of Liability

Wavecrest Marine shall provide notice to anyone promptly of any such claim, suit or proceeding and shall assist the user, at their expense, in defending any such claim, suit or proceeding.
